Developement
Development
Development is a major part of being an instructional designer - it might be the most "focused" part of the process because it is the most visible! It can also be the most fun time for everyone as all of our stakeholders can see the training come to life.
My goal during this process is to utilize authorizing tools such as Articulate 360, PPT, Adobe and more to bring the content to life.
During this process I am focusing on creating:
eLearning/on demand module:
Rapid prototyping
Create quick prototypes with Articulate 360 - main menu, slides, the first few slides in sections, assessment.
Share prototype with SME in articulate review. Make changes as needed.
Continue to share prototype update on an agreed timeline.
Virtual Instructor Led Training:
Redesign existing PPT into visually engaging Instructor Led PPT
Create student tasks for mid lecture group breaks and engagement.
Utilize various Teams, Google Suite, Zoom, etc to conduct the Virtual sessions
On the job templates
Create on the job checklists
Create playbooks
Note:
Due to confidentiality, I will not share company related information in my examples. That being said:
If links are provided: all information related to company are removed from the examples.
If no links are provided: snapshots and videos of the examples are provided. The voices in the examples below are not mine.
These examples are not an extensive list of what I have created/done. I am more than happy to talk about other examples during our conversation.

Why MDR/IVDR Requires Additional Maintenance: An Overview EDITED
This module was created with senior leadership in mind. The goal is to be a 5-10 minute module where senior leadership briefly review the following:
On a high level, what is MDR/IVDR?
Why does MDR/IVDR require more work in maintenance?
Why a change to a product would trigger more work?
Additionally, other in depth modules are in place in cases where senior leaders are interested in the calculation, workflow or need to review definitions.
This module was created to support our department's associates understand the company's competency module. The focus is to utilize the current competency PPT to create an engaging eLearning module with clear examples that associates can relate to.
